Day 01 Dehradun – Yamunotri

At Sahastradhara helipad in Dehradun, you will assemble and begin with the auspicious voyage to Yamunotri. Here only you will be greeted and briefed about the do’s and don’ts of the Yatra by the tour guide or ground staff. The helicopter leaves the helipad at 7 am and takes a 45 minutes flight to arrive at Kharsali helipad, Janki Chatti. From here, you will be driven to the hotel where you can freshen up and leave for the shrine of Yamunotri. Obtain the blessings of goddess Yamuna at the temple located on the left bank of river Yamuna. Another popular attraction to explore in the vicinity is thermal spring that glooms around 7Km away. Journey to the first Dham will end by a night stay at Yamunotri.

Day 02 Yamunotri – Gangotri

The second day of the pilgrimage is scheduled for second Dham, i.e., Gangotri. Depart from Kharsali helipad and arrive at Harsil helipad for a wayfaring to Gangotri. Located amid the lush green valleys, on the banks of river Bhagirathi, the temple is only 22Km away from the helipad and 3100m above the sea level. The temple was constructed by a Nepalese General, Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th century. Being the originating spot of river Ganga due to the amalgamation of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda, this place holds immense importance among Hindu devotees. The main source of the river is Gaumukh in the Gangotri glacier, which is 19Km trek away. Worship at the temple and return to the hotel by lunchtime. Get down for a leisure expedition in the evening to the nearby villages and paddle back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03 Gangotri – Kedarnath

The flight will be scheduled at 9 am and it will take a total of one hour to reach Kedarnath. The shrine of Lord Shiva is situated at a distance of 500m that you can cover in 15minutes. The temple hosts one of total 12 jyotirlingas in India and surrounds itself by remote and snow-capped mountains. After paying homage at the shrine, visit ancient Triyunginarayan temple in the proximity, where lord Shiva and goddess Parvati are believed to have got married. Stay overnight at Kedarnath and leave the hotel at 4 am for Rudra Abhishek.
