Situated at the height of 4150 meters, Kuari Pass nestles in its landscape the mighty panoramas of Himalayan ranges. This pass is prominent for breathtaking trekking trail, which starts from Joshimath and ends at Kuari pass. Being credited to Lord Curzon, this trekking trajectory offers a spectacular view of the magnificent mountain peaks that are standing still. It also offers the skyline views of Kamet(7756mts), Trishul(7120mts), Chaukhamba(7128mts) and the divine mountain peak of Nanda Devi.

The trekking journey begins from Joshimath in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, which is the epicenter of trekking freaks and pilgrims. En route the journey, you will witness the confluence of rivers giving the name of Panch Prayag followed by a trekking journey through the villages of Himalaya. The Lord Curzon trail takes you to through the villages where you can come close to the lives of locals residing there. In this trip, you will also come across the outstanding snow-clad mountains and lush green forests, which are the homes of Himalayan Black Bear, mountain leopard, etc. Also known as Bugyals, these serene meadows renowned for undulating grassland. Undoubtedly, the interplay between the meadows and mystical forests is something worth watching out for.

On this trip, you will have the chance to visit Auli, which is renowned for its beautiful skiing slopes. Some of the lesser-known places like trail top and Vinayak pass will also be covered on this journey. Though the Nanda Devi massif is highlighting the trip, it will also feast your eyes with spectacular snowy slopes of Himalayas. Although this trekking trail is suitable for the beginners because of its insignificant difficulty level, having an enchanting view and experience of this trekking destination and tour is worthwhile for all in the end.

Day 01 Delhi – Haridwar – Rishikesh

Today leave for Haridwar by an A/C train at 6.05hrs and reach Haridwar. Then our guide will assist you with taking you to the hotel at Rishikesh. You can do your recreational activities at your leisure times. Then have dinner at night and a stay at the hotel.

Day 02 Rishikesh – Nandprayag – Ghat (210 kms/7-8 hrs)

After having breakfast head towards Ghat via Devprayag. Ghat will be our trekking base and here will have a stay at night.

Day 03 Ghat – Sutol – Ghunni (14 kms by road & 3 kms trek)

On this day we will go Sutol village by a jeep and start trekking to Ghunni village. This is where we will set our base camp on the school ground of Ghunni village and will stay there overnight.

Day 04 Ghunni – Jhinjhi Village (14 kms/6-7 hrs)

As this is the day for long trekking, we will set out early for Jinjhi village. The trekking will finish with an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 05 Jhinjhi – Pana Village (14 kms/6-7 hrs)

Today after having breakfast we will go to the Pana village. The trekking journey will go through forest, valley, and bridges. We will make our camp base at Pana village to have our overnight stay there.

Day 06 Pana – Dakhwani (14 kms/6 hrs)

Today we will continue our trekking journey towards Dakhwani which is filled with meadows, rivers and water fountains. The day will end with a stay at the camp after the dinner.

Day 07 Dakhwani – Kuari Pass (3800 mts/ ft) – Tali (9 kms/5-6 hrs)

On this day after breakfast, we will keep trekking towards Tali, where one can see the picturesque view of mountain peaks like Nanda Devi, Hathi Godhi Parvat, and Dronagiri. At night have dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 08 Tali – Auli- Joshimath – Rudraprayag (7 kms trek and 115 kms drive/7-8 hrs)

This will be the last day of our trekking trip in which we will move towards Auli meadow, known for beautiful ski resorts in Indian Himalaya. After that drive downwards to Rudraprayag via Chamoli, Karnaprayag, and Joshimath. Then Dinner at night and stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 09 Rudraprayag – Haridwar (160 kms/5 hrs) – Delhi

In the morning after the breakfast, we will drive to Haridwar and from here catch AC Train for Delhi at 18:05 hrs. Arrival at Delhi by 22:45 hrs.
