How to reach Rishikesh through different means and modes?

If you want to travel to Rishikesh via airways, then Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport is about 15 kilometres from the place. There have been two flights that are allotted from New Delhi.

Distance from Delhi to Rishikesh: 230 km

Time taken from Delhi to Rishikesh: 5-7 hours

Travel Costs:  Rs. 200- 500.

Depending upon the traffic, the time to reach your destination may vary from one place to another. There are AC buses which make your journey comfortable and luxurious in summers.

There are numerous trains from Delhi to Rishikesh, though not direct. You have to book a cab or taxi from Haridwar to Rishikesh.

Distance: 254.49kms(shortest distance)

Travel Time: 5-6 hours
