Day 01 Chennai – Delhi – Haridwar

As you arrive in Delhi from Chennai in the morning, you will get on board a car or bus and proceed towards Haridwar. However, if you arrive directly in Haridwar by train, drive to the hotel and have some refreshments. Get engrossed in the spiritual vibes around Har-Ki-Pauri and offer prayers during Ganga aarti in the evening. Have dinner at the hotel and spend a night there only.

Day 02 Haridwar – Barkot

Visit Saptrishi Ghat in the morning, take a quick bath in the holy water of Ganga, and perform Surya Namaskar. Have breakfast, leave for Barkot, and commence with the devout pilgrimage. Many spiritual and tourist destinations will fall in your way, like Rishikesh, Dehradun, and Mussoorie. Alternatively, you can plan to arrive in Rishikesh directly from Chennai by flight and save a fortune. Stay overnight at the hotel in Barkot and begin the pilgrimage the next day.

Day 03 Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Post breakfast, cover a total of 30Km of distance by first driving up to Hanuman Chatti and then boarding a local jeep to reach Janki Chatti. You will then trek up to Yamunotri and visit the sacred shrine of goddess Yamuna. Thereafter, visit Divya Shila and witness river Yamuna descend. Drive back to Barkot by the night, have dinner, and take rest at the hotel.

Day 04 Barkot – Uttarkashi

Leave your accommodation in the morning and drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Brahamkhal and Dharasu Band on the way and have lunch upon reaching Uttarkashi. By the evening, you will be spared with enough time for local sightseeing to Vishwanath temple. After paying homage at the shrine, get back to the hotel, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 05 Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (200km)

Wake up early in the morning and drive up to Gangotri. Gangnani hot spring will cross your path, give a break to your journey here and get engrossed in the mystical blend of spiritual vibe and bountiful nature. Proceeding further, as you reach the temple, embrace the divinity of the surrounding and the shrine. Have lunch in Gangotri and get down to your hotel in Uttarkashi.

Day 06 Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

Leaving Uttarkashi post breakfast, get started for the next Dham, i.e., Kedarnath. You will reach Guptkashi on this day to trek up to Kedarnath the following day. It’s a majestic town with ethereal mountainous surrounding, where you can get your medical checkup done for the next day journey.

Day 07 Guptkashi – Kedarnath

Your journey will start with a drive to Gaurikund(3584m), from where you will trek up to Kedarnath or ride a Doli or pony to get there. Upon reaching Kedarnath, check into the hotel, pay homage at the temple, and wander a little around the lush green valley in the evening. Have dinner in Kedarnath and stay overnight.

Day 08 Kedarnath – Rudraprayag

Wake up with the early morning bells and offer prayers at the temple in Kedarnath. Thereafter, leave for Gaurikund and begin a drive to Rudraprayag. Upon arrival in Rudraprayag, check into the hotel and rest away a night.

Day 09 Rudraprayag – Badrinath

Leave the hotel in Rudraprayag and drive towards Badrinath via Joshimath. Check into a hotel upon arrival in Badrinath and freshen up before leaving for the sacred shrine. The pilgrimage to this Dham completes as you take a quick bath in the holy waters of Tapt Kund. Thereafter, lead back to the hotel, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 10 Badrinath – Srinagar

As dusk descends and dawn breaks, take a dip in Tapt Kund and have breakfast. Then check out from the hotel and leave for Srinagar. Visit the stunning and serene sightseeing spots en route and reach Srinagar by the night. Check in to the hotel and stay for an overnight halt.

Day 11 Srinagar – Rishikesh

It will be the last day of the tour when you will visit some tourist and spiritual attractions way back to your home. Leaving Srinagar, you will first encounter Shankaracharya Math and Narsingh temple on the way. After reaching Rishikesh, you will check into a hotel and relax for a while before exploring some more spiritual sights like Triveni Ghat, Ram Jhulla, Laxman Jhulla, Bharat Mandir, etc. that are situated there.

Day 12 Rishikesh – Delhi – Chennai

You can either fly back to Chennai from Rishikesh or drive to Delhi and board a flight for Chennai. Or, you can drive to Haridwar and get on board a train going towards Chennai.
