The Ganga is one of many sacred rivers of Hindus and is worshipped as goddess Ganga by them. Situated on the Garhwal regions of Uttarakhand, this river serves as a lifeline to millions of people. Gangotri is considered to be the origin of Ganga. The scenic beauty of Gangotri is the reason why thousands of people visit this place every year. People visit this pilgrimage site from May to June. Similar to other holy places, this place also has some tales associated with it. It is believed that by seeing the high intensity of goddess Ganga, Lord Shiva requested her to rest in his hair, to save the world from destruction. Gangotri is a religious destination which nestles many worshipping places and one of them is Gaumukh (mouth of a cow). It is a glacier or kind of a cow’s snout, which is situated alongside the river.

If you are thinking to escape your mundane life, then get started with your journey to Gangotri. Upon visiting this majestic place, you will find yourself surrounded by a white sheet of snow. The sunrise and sunset at this place are worth watching. Ekadash Rudra temple, Kuteti Devi temple, Vishwanath temple, and Gyaneshwar temple are some of the temples you can visit when you are in Gangotri.

Nearby places of Gangotri encompassing Tapovan, Mandavan, and Kalindikal are also among many attractions to be visited by the people. Day 01: Arrive Delhi

After reaching Delhi meet our representatives at the Airport to get to the Hotel. Overnight stay and Dinner at the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi – Haridwar – Rishikesh

Post breakfast we will drive you to Rishikesh via Haridwar. After reaching Rishikesh check in the hotel. The evening time is free for sightseeing. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 03: Rishikesh – Uttarkashi (170 kms/ 4-5 hrs) Panch-kedar

The third day begins with early morning breakfast and a drive to Uttarkashi, 4-5 hours to get there. Upon arrival to Uttarkashi check in the hotel. The evening time is free for sightseeing. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 04: Uttarkashi – Gangotri (3048 m/ 10,000 ft) Drive (95 kms)

Early in the morning, we will proceed to Gangotri via Harshil by covering a distance of 95kms on 4 to 5 hours. Upon arrival check in the hotel and stay for the night.

Day 05: Gangotri (3048 mts/10000 ft) – Bhojwassa (3792 mts/12440 ft) 13 kms trek/5-6 hrs)

Post breakfast we will proceed towards Bhojwassa via Chirbassa. Trekking along the Bhagirathi river and going through the dense forest, we will reach Bhojwassa. After the arrival take a rest in the camp beside the river. In the evening you can go for sightseeing to explore the nearby places. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.

Day 06: Bhojwassa – Gomukh (3890 mts/12760 ft) – Tapovan (4463 mts / 14640 ft) Panch-kedar.

Early in the morning, you can have your breakfast by enjoying the magnificent views of Bhagirathi group of peaks. Trek towards Gaumukh, the source of river Ganga. Then continue trekking towards Tapovan. One can see blue mountain goats on the mountain ranges.

Day 07: Tapovan (4463 mts / 14640 ft)

The seventh day will be spent by enjoying the beautiful snow covered peaks, Flora and Fauna of this place. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp

Day 08: Tapovan – Bhojwassa (Trek 4-5 hrs) Panch-kedar

Enjoying the early morning sunshine, you can have your breakfast. Then trek downwards to reach Bhojwassa camping site. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.

Day 09: Bhojwassa – Gangotri (Trek 4-5 hrs)

Today continue trekking towards Gangotri, where you will stay in the camp for the night.

Day 10: Gangotri – Uttarkashi.

In the morning after the breakfast, we will drive you to Uttarkashi. After the arrival check in the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 11: Uttarkashi – Haridwar – Delhi

Today drive to Delhi via Haridwar. Depart to the hotel for the stay.

Day 12: Delhi Departure

Today transferred to Delhi International Airport to catch your flight.
