Day 01 Mumbai – Delhi – Haridwar

The first day of the Yatra will be more about travelling for you will either fly up to Delhi or get down for a train journey from Mumbai. From Delhi, you will proceed towards Haridwar by getting onboard a bus or car. Alternatively, you can book a direct train to Haridwar and avoid road travel. Upon reaching, check in to a hotel and make a night stay.

Day 02 Haridwar – Barkot

Wake up early in the morning and visit Saptrishi Ghat. Offer your auspicious prayers and take the blessings of Lord Shiva before embarking upon a travel journey to Barkot. You will encounter the pristine beauty of Rishikesh and Mussoorie. However, if you have arrived in Rishikesh instead of Delhi or Haridwar via air, you can trim your travel cost and time. Upon reaching Barkot, have dinner and stay in a hotel.

Day 03 Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (One Side Distance : 7km Trek and 30km Drive)

Have breakfast and leave Barkot to reach Hanuman Chatti, from where you will hop on a local jeep to arrive at Janki Chatti. Following that, you will trek up to Yamunotri or cover the distance riding a horse or Doli for more convenience. Upon reaching, visit the shrine of Yamunotri and Divya Shila temple and offer your prayers. Thereafter, trek down to Barkot and stay there for an overnight stay.

Day 04 Barkot – Uttarkashi

Begin your day with some delicious breakfast, followed by a drive to Uttarkashi. You can also visit Brahamkhal and Dharasu Band on the way. You will have lunch in Uttarkashi and visit Vishwanath temple in the evening. After having dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (200km)

As dusk unveils dawn, you will drive to Gangotri with an en-route visit to Gangnani hot springs for an auspicious dip. Goddess Ganga will bless you with prosperity, once you visit the shrine in Gangotri. Hereafter, you will have lunch and drive back to Uttarkashi.

Day 06 Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

Proceeding with the pilgrimage towards the third Dham i.e., Kedarnath, you will first leave Uttarkashi for reaching Guptkashi. Visit Tehri village en route and check in to a hotel, once you reach Guptkashi.

Day 07 Guptkashi – Kedarnath

Post breakfast, leave Guptkashi and drive to Gaurikund, followed by a trek up to Kedarnath from Gaurikund. Since you are advised to carry woolen clothes, toiletries, and first-aid for unpredictable emergencies, you can also go for horse or Doli ride for a convenient journey. Check in to a hotel and visit the Kedarnath temple. After embracing the beauty and sanctity of the temple, you can get back to your hotel and take some rest.

Day 08 Kedarnath – Rudraprayag

Pay an early morning visit to the temple and move towards Gaurikund. You will then drive to Rudraprayag and check in to a hotel for an overnight halt.

Day 09 Rudraprayag – Badrinath

Traveling via Joshimath, you will cover the distance between Rudraprayag and Badrinath. Once you will reach there, check in to the hotel to keep your stuff and freshen up before leaving for Badrinath temple. Visit the shrine and partake in the Aarti in the evening. Rest your tired soul away in Badrinath for a night.

Day 10 Badrinath – Srinagar

Pay an early morning visit to Taptkund and Badrivishal to give an auspicious and divine begin to the day. Do some local sight-seeing on the way to Srinagar and end your day by checking in to a hotel in Srinagar and night stay.

Day 11 Srinagar – Rishikesh

Post breakfast, drive along with your backpack to Rishikesh. Visit Shankaracharya Math and Narsingh temple before leaving Srinagar. Arrive in Rishikesh to stay overnight and do some sight-seeing- Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, Bharat temple, Parmarth Ashram, Triveni Ghat, and Shivananda Ashram.

Day 12 Rishikesh – Delhi – Mumbai

This day will be your way back home in Mumbai. You will drive to Delhi from Rishikesh and then fly back to Mumbai. You can also fly directly from Rishikesh to Mumbai or drive down to Haridwar and cover the remaining distance to Mumbai via train.
