Neer Garh Waterfall Trek

If one takes a short walk of around 3 km from Lakshman Jhula, Neer Garh can be reached. Although the trekking is route is a bit challenging in comparison to other treks, but it is a perfect place to spend some quiet moments in the lap of nature.

Patna Waterfalls Trek

It is a perfect walk in the park which is decorated with a beautiful scenery surrounded by dense forest of outer Himalayas. The trekking takes around half an hour to reach the site from Rishikesh. The nature of the trek is of a moderate one, so it attracts a lot of people to indulge in it.

Kunjapuri Temple Trek

It is a half-day trek which is very popular among the trekkers. The temple is located at a height of around 1650 meters, offering an astonishing view of the surrounding locations. The place is quite populated during the Hindu festivals as the temple witnesses a lot of devotees. Besides, the location gives a great sunrise backdrop that lights up the surrounded area beautifully. Going for this trek, one has to travel by road from Narendra Nagar to Hindola Kala from where it is around 5 km.

Neelkanth Mahadev Trek

Being situated at a height of around 1300 meters, the temple offers an amazing experience for trekkers. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and witnesses a lot of devotees round the year. The trek has a length of 15 km and the whole route is surrounded by nature’s beauty.

Valley of Flowers Trek

It is a long trek that starts from Ghangaria base camp and goes up to the Valley of Flowers and takes almost 4 days to complete. When combined with Hemkund Sahib, it provides a lifelong experience of the beautiful Himalayan region. Being situated at a height of 3200 meters, it requires a good amount of effort to reach.

Surkanda Devi Temple Trek

Surkanda Devi temple is situated at a distance of around 90 km from Rishikesh and is the best trekking option for a short trek. The temple is led by stairs where it is around 2.5 km uphill which is surrounded by a wonderful green environment.

Chandrashila Trek

It is one of the most popular treks in Uttarakhand. Located in Chopta-Chandrashila-Deoriatal Trek, it takes 6 days to complete. Owing to the difficulty of the trek, it is certainly not suitable for the beginners. At a height of 4000 meters, this trek provides once in a lifetime experience, especially in winters.
