River Rafting

Being one of the greatest location for rafting, Rishikesh has already gained immense popularity. With the other increasing adventures, rafting proves to be one of the popular exhilarations.

Except monsoon, which extends from mid-June to September. Rafting is in great demand in Rishikesh for all its visitors as well as its tourists. It has been seen that the months of February, March, April, May, October, and November are suitable for the rafting excursions.

The first stretch commences from the place called Kaudiyala which is approximately 9-10 kms and takes about 3 hours to Marine drive. Some of the common rapids that you would encounter at this stretch are Sweet Sixteen, Denial Dip, and the Great Wall.

This is the second stretch commencing from Marine drive and extends to 11 kms to reach out to Shivpuri that consumes 2-3 hours. The popular rapids that meet you here are black money, cross fire and the three blind mice.

Covering a distance of 10-11 kms, the third stretch continues from Shivpuri to Brahmapuri within 2-3 hours. You meet return to sender, roller coaster golf course and club house rapids here.

The last and final stretch commences from Brahmapuri to Rishikesh, which is the most comprehensive one. The stretches that you meet up here are double trouble, and Hilton and terminator.
