Its altitude escalates to 4150m and area stretches to 19 km in the north and south of Nanda Devi. The 18 days long trek is best expedited from April to June and September to October. Other glaciers that adventure freaks trek to en route include Bartoli, Ramani, and Trishul, justifying the trajectory that begins with easy landscapes and gets arduous later on.
As you arrive in Kathgodam, you drive to Munsyari from where this trans-Himalayan trek comes into effect. Beautiful campsites like Bugdiyar, Railkot, and Milam will await you on the way to Pachu glacier, where you will stay overnight in tents. Hereafter, you will reach the east base camp and explore the area around before getting down to Kathgodam and spending a night at each place that may come across your way.
