Among various prominent trekking trails in India, Bedni Bugyal is one of the finest grasslands, popular for exotic flowers and medicated herbs that are sprawling here. Situated on the perimeters of Kumaon and Garhwal falls, it lies in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. This trek is almost 3354 meters above sea level. Bedni Budgyal is considered to be the most beautiful Bugyal of Uttarakhand because of the perfect combination of Himalayan mountains and meadows that can be seen from there. Apart from that, what makes it famous is the amazing view of sunsets and sunrises.

Once you visit this place, you will also get a chance to enjoy the superlative view of Trishul Parvat(7120 m). Along with that, you will fetch an awe-inspiring sight of the western side of Nanda Ghunti and Trishul shower, while exploring the lofty trails. They are believed to be the living paradise on Earth, giving a splendid view of mountains. Besides this, the Vaitami Lake is believed to be the home of Brahma Kamal flower or Saussurea obvallata, which is found only in the areas of Bedni Bugyal.

If you are lucky, you may get an opportunity to see the famous Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra, a ritual procession that takes place after 12 years only.

Day 01 Delhi – Haridwar – Rishikesh.

This trekking journey to Bedni bugyal begins with comfortable AC train journey at 06:50 am and we will be reaching Haridwar by 11:25 am. Once you arrive, you will be welcomed by our guide, who will take you to the holy place Rishikesh by road. Now, after checking into the hotel, you can have rest. At evening, if you like you can perform Aarti ceremony on the banks of river Ganges. Overnight stay at the hotel only.

Day 02 Rishikesh – Karnprayag – Mundoli.

The next morning, after breakfast we would drive you to Mundoli that will take around 8 to 9 hours to reach. We will cross the sacred rivers Rudraprayag, Devprayag, and Karnprayag during our drive. It would be dawn by the time we will reach Mundoli, so dinner and night stay will be arranged at Mundoli only.

Day 03 Mundoli – Wan – Bedni Bugyal (3350 mts/11000 ft).

We will move forward to our next destination, Wan a focal head road which is almost 10 km in distance. You will have one of the most amazing trekking experience while going to Bedni bugyal from Garhwal. Dinner and night stay will be arranged inside the tents. You can also visit the temples around, during the stay at Bedni bugyal.

Day 04 Bedni – Ali Bugyal – Bedni (10 kms/4 hrs).

On the 4th day, we will proceed to Ali bugyal(3300 mts). On climbing high, the climate will extremely change.so, it is advisable to carry winters cloths. Trek to the Ali bugyal will pass through the green grassy land, conifer forest, and hushed hamlets.

Day 05 Bedni Bugyal – Wan (2436 mts/8000 ft).

On the next day, we will take a turn towards the village Wan of Chamoli district. Overnight stay will be arranged at the tents. While returning, the trek time falls to 3 or 4 hours.

Day 06 Wan – Rishikesh (2200 mts /7200 ft).

On the 6th day, we will return to Rishikesh. We will reach by the evening, lunch will be arranged meanwhile. Night stay will be arranged at the hotel.

Day 07 Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi.

Drive to Haridwar, after breakfast. Lunch will be taken en route. Evening, arrival to Rishikesh for overnight stay & dinner
